Ladies... I am your typical 39yr old female. When Im overweight it affects everything that I do. I become moody, self conscious and really unhappy. I have tried the usual diet plans - Weight watchers, Slimmers World, Atkins but they just dont work for me. I have trained with both Matt Ibbs and Dean Connor. I trained with Matt 3 yrs ago, achieved my goal, moved to St Helens and thought I could maintain my weight loss on my own...Wrong!! After going out for a few too many lovely meals with my partner I put on 20lbs. So, I decided to go back to Matt Ibbs Personal Training Services. The sessions are 45 minutes of hard work, afterwhich you come away feeling extremely tired, but very proud of yourself for working so hard. There is also a food plan to follow and you are weighed each week... These guys have a wealth of experience in weight loss and fitness. If you follow the training plan and stick to the food plan, youll get there. It only takes a couple of weeks to see big results. Ive been back with Dean now for 8 weeks and lost a stone.Ive gone from a size 16 to a size 12. Need I say more? I have used other trainers in the past but not with such dramatic results. I have been using Matt Ibbs Personal Training for just over 4 months, since starting training with Lee Chadwick, one of his trainers, my training has hit new heights. I am fitter, faster and in better shape than i have ever been in my life, before i started with lee my body fat percentage was between 18-20%, i now have it down to 9% ! this is down to a combination of intense cardio and weight training. The training i recieve is hard, but enjoyable at the same time.

Over several years, I had been going to the gym and working out quite regularly but not seeing a whole lot of results. I was still not happy with clothes sizes nor with how I looked when I walked past a mirror. I basically justified eating whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted, and did not have any knowledge about proper nutrition. Dean spoke with me one day at the gym and I began to think that maybe I really needed some help with what I was doing. Believe it or not, it took another 12 months before I finally asked if I could schedule a consultation with Dean. Since October 2008, I have lost around 45 pounds over nine months, and have increased my overall fitness levels. One of my primary objectives was to change my eating habits behaviour, and this has been tough. Dean has helped me to see some success in this area. I have a weekly training session with Dean and workouts are tough but rewarding. My progress is carefully monitored, and Dean is very honest, laid back and focused. The new gym on Prescot Road is fully equipped and is a good environment. Dean, Matt and Lee seem to work very well together as a team. I highly recommend Dean Connor not just because of his knowledge and skills but primarily due to a keen sense of humour.
